On Friday 19th June, Burwood Heights Primary School celebrated Bastille Day. It was a fun-filled day where students dressed up in French-themed costumes of blue, white and red to celebrate French National Day. The students experienced an entertaining French Music Show ‘C’est Si Bon’ and learnt many French songs and dances.
Congratulations to the Level Four students for creating their own French activities and running them at lunchtime for the entire school to enjoy. The activities were designed in class and show the amazing knowledge our students have of the French culture and language. The activities included: French Twister, French Quiz, Who am I(French words), Capture the Money, French Chess and French board games. The Day was a success and thoroughly enjoyed by all!
