Senior School Camp

In Term One, the Senior School students attended camp at Beechworth. They went gold panning, hiking and learnt about the notorious bushranger Ned Kelly. However the highlight of many students was the visit to the famous Beechworth Sweet Company!

The Senior School Camp to Beechworth connected with their Inquiry Unit about migration. They learnt all about the Gold Rush and how that affected immigration to Victoria.

Some of the activities the students enjoyed were re-enacting the trial of Ned Kelly at the old court house, watching a blacksmith at work, visiting the Burke museum and retracing the steps of Ned Kelly's Last Stand.
